What happens more often than not with backdrop and floor combos is the use of a simple wood floor style as the bottom piece. It's that nice little bit of attention that can really polish the look of your photo set up and bring your photos to life.
But sometimes you'll get that special photographer that wants their photos to stand out from the rest. To add a little spice to the backdrop / floor concoction... And so the Color Crush was born. For the fun loving, creative, risk taking types.
Creating a look that's all your own can be a difficult task. That's why we've created a foolproof plan to help the stragglers. Take out your color charts people! You're gonna crush it.
- Pick your desired backdrop.
- When choosing a secondary drop try and look for a complimentary color, shade or texture that's in your original drop that isn't very dominant. (That'll be the best choice for for your floor).
- When looking for a floor, look for styles that will compliment your backdrop of choice. For example, if you have a very busy piece look for something more subdued in pattern or texture. See example 1 on the Color Crush chart.
- HAVE FUN WITH IT. There is no wrong or right combo when it comes to your photo shoots. Let your personality shine!
